The Galfer Shark Road & Gravel Center Lock is the most advanced brake rotor developed by Galfer for road and gravel bikes. Designed in collaboration with professional cyclists, it combines high structural stiffness, excellent heat dissipation and very low weight to deliver consistent braking performance even in the most demanding conditions.
Its innovative Shark® design incorporates integrated cooling fins that help dissipate heat, reducing brake system fatigue and maintaining consistent braking power during long descents or intensive use.
Maximum thermal efficiency
The 1.8 mm hardened stainless steel braking track works together with a CNC-machined 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminium carrier to create a lightweight, stiff and durable rotor. The result is more stable braking, improved modulation and increased durability for both the rotor and brake pads.
Designed for performance
The Wave profile optimizes the brake pad contact surface while improving the evacuation of dirt and water. Meanwhile, the two-piece construction helps maintain rotor stability under high temperatures.
Compatible with any Center Lock hub, it is the perfect upgrade for road and gravel bikes looking for superior braking performance without adding unnecessary weight.

Only use the wheels for their intended purpose (road) and with compatible components (thru axles, appropriate discs, and freehub bodies).
Always respect the maximum recommended pressure for tires and setup (tubeless or with inner tube), as excessive pressure can damage the rim and void the warranty.
For tubeless setups, ensure correct tire mounting, keep the sealant in good condition, and periodically check for airtightness.
Install brake discs following the torque recommended by the disc manufacturer, avoiding excessive tightening that could damage the hub.
Before each ride, check the general condition of the wheel, ensuring there are no cracks, impacts, play in spokes or hubs, or abnormal noises.
Clean the wheels with water and mild products, avoiding aggressive cleaners or high-pressure jets directly on bearings and hubs.
Any damage resulting from improper use, incorrect assembly, or lack of maintenance may affect product performance and warranty coverage.
